Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Beta

Wednesday, March 05, 2008
While viewing a forum, I see that Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Beta for Vista is available for download.  If you have XP, you will need the Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Beta for XP.  Now just because I posted it - it does not mean I support it.

Personally, I will never install another "Internet Explorer Beta" again.  I will probably wait a couple of months as well.  I had a problem with an Internet Explorer Beta a few years ago.  I cannot remember which one it was but I do remember that (Microsoft) Outlook (some version) stopped reading HTML e-mails.  I had to contact Microsoft Support (yes - I was able to e-mail them) to get a DLL file to install.  Once this was installed, Outlook started to work right.

Now I have seen some posts about how Internet Explorer 8 is supposed to display code "better" and "properly".  Whether it does or doesn't, I am sure a lot of people will be unhappy with the way it handles the code.
