So it has been awhile since I was on here, writing.  It seems like ages but just a little over two weeks.  In that time span, I helped a forum get moved to a new server, wrote a few other blogs (I'll tell you about that later), bought a Nautilus NS600X Strength System, and had a heater / air purification / humidifier installed.

The 404 Blog

While in the midst of writing on post on Loud Expressions, I decided that I would probably break down a few different sections - maybe for search engine purposes, who knows.  But one of the titles I had was 404 Error Page (Not) Found.  I had never messed with putting parenthesis in a hyperlink, but never read anything that said it could not be done (mind you never really looked either).  Ironically, while trying to get this blog post to come up, I was getting 404 Error - Page Not Found.

After about ten minutes, I thought let me try another title: 404 Error Page -Not- Found.  So now, I have learned that you cannot use parenthesis in a URL.

Customer Support

I have quite a few of these coming, mainly on the insurance side of course.  I will say though in this one, that being a Microsoft "supporter" all these years, and hearing how people say how good PHP / *NIX is, my mind is not changed.  With the move of a vBulletin forum, it seems their customer support is dwindling.

While on their forums, you cannot get access to any of the "support" forums that vBulletin users post in etc unless your email address is in their system.  So why can't you just post a question and get support that way instead of their ticketing system?  Just one of those things, I guess.

Being a Administrator on a few forums and seeing the backend of a number of them, vBulletin is still low on my recommendation list.  I am sure their is a hierarchy there that I just still do not get.

Oh, and Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 Beta is still running just fine.
